As a regional convener, SERAC provides the following types of technical assistance to various partners across the behavioral health continuum.
- SERAC collects qualitative and quantitative data regularly through both informal and formal methods. This information informs an annual strategic plan in partnership with the CT Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services and guides community level activities. SERAC also administers surveys to both youth and adults.
- In order to build and deepen community relationships and partnerships, SERAC offers a variety of training and presentations intended to raise awareness for community change.
- SERAC staff assist local communities in aligning their efforts with existing state and national initiatives. SERAC also coordinates opportunities across the region to fill the gaps in limited resources and offer a platform for communities to learn about emerging trends.
