Communicating to Build Community
This half-day workshop presented by Joe Brummer will focus on communicating to build
community through a trauma-informed and equitable lens. We will explore the ways we use
language that can cause disconnection and move to learning the tools we need to use in
language to connect. Through the use of videos, group discussion, games, and activities, we
will find new ways to support the building of strong communities.
